Biathlon fans can upgrade their track tickets for the sprint races
and secure their season tickets for 2026
Track tickets, which were purchased for the women's sprint races on Thursday (09 January 2025) and the men's sprint races on Friday (10 January 2025), can be upgraded to an arena ticket at the box office. On the four competition days are already season tickets for the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2026 in Oberhof available.
The organisers of the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2025 in Oberhof are offering a ticket upgrade: Spectators who have purchased track tickets for the women's sprint races on women's sprint races on Thursday (09 January 2025) and the men's sprint races on Friday (10 January 2025) can upgrade these tickets to ARENA tickets if they wish. ‘Visitors interested in upgrading ‘Visitors interested in upgrading can notify this to the box office at the main entrance, exchange the ticket and pay the difference,’ explains Bernd Wernicke, head of the organising committee and Managing Director of Oberhofer Sport und Event GmbH.
Season tickets for the World Cup 2026
Fans attending the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2025 in Oberhof can already secure their tickets for next year's biathlon spectacle. At the so-called Clearing Container directly behind the main entrance, one can get season tickets for the BMW IBU World Cup 2026 in Oberhof - and even with a ten percent discount on the normal price. ‘The fans are our guarantor for a good atmosphere. They have been loyal to us for years, which we would like to reward with the discount,’ says Bernd Wernicke about the special offer.
The sale for the season tickets for all fans starts on Monday, the 13st of January 2025 in the Online ticket shop under https://tickets.biathlon-oberhof.de. Single tickets for the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2026 in Oberhof are to be sold later, presumably during the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) in February 2025.
The season tickets for the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2026 cost between 110 Euro (reduced admission 55 Euro) along the tracks and 320 Euro for seating in the blocks I to P (no discount). The ARENA am Rennsteig is split into three categories for the upcoming World Cup: The blocks D1 to F2 in the lower rank are divided into category 1 (270 Euro for a season ticket, reduced admission 135 Euro), the blocks A to C in the lower rank 2 (250 Euro for a season tickets, reduced admission 125 Euro), and the blocks R to U in the upper rank in category 3 (230 Euro for a season ticket, reduced admission 115 Euro) . Children up to nine years are admitted free of charge, children and young people aged ten to 17 pay reduced admission.
Competition programme in January 2026
The BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2026 in Oberhof will take place from 8th to 11th of January 2026. It will open on Thursday, 8th of January 2026 with the men's sprint. The
women's sprint will follow on Friday, 09th of January 2026. On Saturday, 10th of January 2026, the men's pursuit and the women's relay are on the programme. The World Cup will be closed by the men's relay and the women's pursuit on Sunday, 11th of January 2025.
The times of the competitions are yet to be announced.
