Cottage village:
A total of 46 stands, including 13 cottages from winter sports clubs plus one cottage from the Thuringian Skiing Association (Thüringer Skiverband e.V.) and 14 cottages from commercial operators, could be found in the cottage village and the Expo-Area. There was everything a fan's heart desires. 55,000 grilled sausages, Bratwürste, were sold. In addition, 3,500 steaks and 740 kilograms of fries were were sold. In addition, the fans helped themselves to 8,180 liters of mulled wine and 200 hectoliters of beer (including visitor tents). Around 74,000 0.2-litre cups and 52,000 0.5-litre cups were available via the returnable cup system.

Logistics:
The logistics of the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2025 in Oberhof is a mammoth task. 106 functional containers have been set up, 70 of them in the team area alone. A further 33 containers have been set up for the cottage village, the supporting program and the stewards. There are three containers in the TV compound. 644 fences (1,610 running meters) and 180 fences (630 running meters) were set up. 22 WC containers and 21 toilet cabins can be found on the site.
Media representatives:
A total of 290 media representatives were registered for the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2025 in Oberhof, including 19 journalists and 22 photographers. Almost 250 reporters and commentators as well as technical staff and the production team ensured the TV and radio coverage. This year's host broadcaster ZDF alone had 38 cameras in operation for the production of the world picture. In addition, twelve unilateral camera teams from a total of seven nations were involved.
Prize money:
Prize money totaling 547,000 euros are distributed. The winners of the individual races (sprint and pursuit) receive 15,000 euros, the runners-up receive 12,000 and third place 10,000 euros. The top teams in the single mixed relay receive 13,000 euros (1st place), 10,000 (2nd place) and 8,000 euros (3rd place) and for the mixed relay team 26,000 euros (1st place), 20,000 euros (2nd place) and 16,000 euros (3rd place). At the Flower Ceremonies in the ARENA am Rennsteig, 30 trophies made of wood and slate, which were produced by the company Intersport Prediger in Ilmenau, and the Oberhof mascot Flocke were awarded. Medals were awarded at the award ceremonies on the town square in Oberhof.
Tickets:
57,700 fans attended the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2025 in Oberhof, 10,000 of them on Thursday, 11,200 on Friday, 20,500 on Saturday (sold out) and 16,000 on Sunday. Transfer & transportation:
An average of 78 shuttle buses were used between the P+R parking lots and the ARENA am Rennsteig. On the busiest day (Saturday, January 11, 2025), 86 shuttle buses were in use. Two electric buses were also tested. The most coaches (89) were counted on the day of the men's sprint race. At the weekend, an average of 2,000 fans arrived in Zella-Mehlis by train. To ensure transportation for athletes, media representatives, organising committee members and VIPs, 43 vehicles, including 27 minibuses, were used. In the center of Oberhof alone, around 20 signs were set up as a guidance system.
