Where can I buy the tickets?

What services does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes:

  • free shuttle service from P+R parking slots

  • extensive supporting programme within the event area and in the entire town area of Oberhof

  • free access to the marquee at the Grenzadler and the visitors' marquee on the town square

How do I get to the ARENA am Rennsteig in Oberhof on the competition days?

You can use the free shuttle bus service at the designated P+R car parks. The parking spaces are large enough, so reservations are not necessary.

Do I need to have my ticket personalised?

No, personalisation is not required.

What is there to consider for my children?

Children receive free admission until the age of 9 (up to 9.9 years). Special prices apply to the family ticket for Thursday and Friday. You can find out more about this in the ticket shop. A special ticket for children does not need to be booked. At the entrance to the event, each child will receive their own ticket.

What services are available for me as a visually impaired or walking-impaired person?

Walking and visually impaired persons will receive an appropriate parking card with appropriate proof when booking via the Oberhofinformation. The transfer from the car park to the stadium will be provided by the German Red Cross (DRK) and audio support will be available for the visually impaired. What do I have to keep in mind when attending the event?

From when can I enter the event area? What are the ARENA opening hours?

The ARENA am Rennsteig opens 2 hours before the competition. The competition area around 4 hours before the competition.

 

Is there a supporting program for the world cup?

The Warm-Up in the ARENA starts 2 hours before the start of the competition. There will be a colourful program at the Hüttendorf.

Where can I watch the start and result lists?

The start and result lists will be published online at www.biathlon-oberhof.com. A start list in paper form will not be offered due to the sustainability concept.

Are there video walls at the track?

There are 6 video walls around the track. E.g. Birx-Steig and Henkelschleife. You can find the video walls in the track overview.

Can I leave the competition area between the races?

This is possible at any time. Waiting times for re-entry into the area are to be expected.

What am I allowed to take into the ARENA? / Can I take my thermos flask into the ARENA? / Can I take a backpack with me into the ARENA?

Thermos flasks may be taken into the ARENA up to a maximum of 1l. Backpacks may be brought, the security service is required to check bags.

Are there catering facilities inside the ARENA?

There are no catering facilities inside the ARENA. The only possibilities are the Hüttendorf and at the track.

Is card payment inside the area possible?

Card payment is possible to a limited extent. Only card payment is possible at the box office for ticket purchases.

Where will the award ceremonies take place?

The flower ceremony will take place directly after the respective race in the ARENA. The official award ceremony with medal presentation will take place on Friday and Saturday evening on the town square in Oberhof. On Sunday directly in the ARENA.

Can tickets be returned?

A purchased ticket can’t be retourned.

Do the arena tickets include the track or would you have to buy two different tickets?

You can go to the track with a arena ticket but you can’t enter the arena with a track ticket.

Are there also seats for children or up to what age are they allowed to sit on their parents' laps?

Children up to and including 2 years of age are considered lap children. Children over 2 years of age require their own ticket in the seating grandstand. Children up to a maximum of 9.9 years have free admission (standing area) to the ARENA and at the track.

Can I get tickets on site?

Yes, but only with card payment.

Will there be a secondary ticket market?

Yes, from 1.1.2025 there will be a secondary ticket market through which you can also purchase tickets.
